'Outta My Mind' is all about getting out of your own head and into a greater understanding of what God has for you. At the time, I didn't have a job, my wife and I had just moved to a new city and I was just not in a good headspace. I came to the songwriting session with the lyric and melody, and feeling like I had a front row seat to everyone else's happiness. This song came out of that place, and is a reminder that God has a part for each of us to play. Whatever the day holds, I've got to get 'outta my mind' and focus on the fact that God delights in me.
