Kylie Minogue - chocolate MTV - dance charts "Chocolate" is a song by Australian recording artist and songwriter Kylie Minogue, taken from her ninth studio album Body Language 2003. The song was written by Karen Poole and Johnny Douglas, while production was handled by Douglas. Released on 28 June, 2004 by Parlophone and Mushroom, the song later appeared on her 2004 greatest compilation Ultimate Kylie. Before the commercial release of Minogue's version, "Chocolate" was originally a duet including a rap by Ludacris, however it wasn't released as the final mix.

Musically, the song utilizes a dance written song, but features elements of pop and R&B. Although lyrically, the song has been unexplained, however many over viewers have subjected that the song talks about Kylie being consumed by love. "Chocolate" received mainly mixed reviews from music critics, enjoying her lyrics, while criticizing the transition to more R&B and hip-hop-oriented music. After its release, "Chocolate" experienced moderate success on the charts, peaking inside the top ten in the United Kingdom and Hungary. However, it charted lower in her native Australia at number fourteen, becoming her first single to chart outside the top ten since 2001.

An accompanying music video was shot by Dawn Shadforth and was filmed on 6 and 7 June 2004 in London, England. It featured Minogue in a Moroccon-inspired theme, where it features a group of dancers dancing in the video. The song has only been performed twice on Minogue's major concert tours, these being Showgirl: The Greatest Hits Tour and Showgirl: The Homecoming Tour.

"Chocolate" featured a music video that was directed by Dawn Shadforth and was filmed on 6 and 7 June 2004 in London, England, with rehearsals six days before filming began. The video features the song's single edit and Minogue performing several jazz dance numbers in a studio-theater with back-up dancers.

The video is a tribute to the MGM musicals of the 1940s, and saw Minogue reunite with choreographer Michael Rooney whom she had previously worked with on the video for her hit single "Can't Get You Out of My Head" 2001.

The video was a moderate hit on music channels. Although it could not match the success of its predecessors the video was a top twenty hit in the UK, reaching number eleven on the TV airplay chart and number thirteen on MTV's Europe Top 20 countdown. It was also played frequently on music channels in Australia.

The version of the song used in the music video and also heard on radio, was remixed to be shorter than the original album track. This version featured an altered instrumental, newer vocals and a slightly alternate structure for its commercial release.
